I followed your instructions carefully and after the last instruction “select reboot system now” the phone displays a unicorn with the words “initiating swagger” under the unicorn. I left the phone (LG P970) for an hour and there was no change to the display. I removed the battery for 10 mins and reinstalled. the phone rebooted into the unicorn again and it has been in that condition for another hour. Please can you offer any help with this problem? Thanks, Ian. from Australia

Problem fixed! Reboot into recovery by holding volume – key and on/off switch at the same time. Redo the clearing steps as per instructions . Then install the aokp and gapps files from the SD card again. It progressed from the unicorn display on the third try. Now we’re cooking with gas! – Ian from Oz

Hi, I just installed Jelly Bean from AOKP version on my LG Optimus Black, as you taught at this article. Till now I experienced 3 bugs on my device though… is this rom AOKP safe? I never heard it before, I just see on youtube guys talking about the Cyanogen Mod. Is there any difference from both? If I keep experiencing problems on my device, what should I do? How can I switch to CM10? Or how can I move back to the original installed rom (2.3.4)? Thank you!

hi, i installled it and is working very fine – except one problem. When I select the date from Provider, it takes time zone as GMT, I am in IST (India). WHy like this, any idea? If I change my time zone to GMT, it shows me correct time. But then, in any messange or messages related notifications/and actual messages, I see the time as GMT (5 and half hours back) as many of my friends in India send me the msg, but my phone converts that time to corresponding GMT time. Can I come out of this issue?
