UnlockRoot will be seen by many antivirus software as a trojan because it actually has the signature, and code of a trojan/exploit. It is an exploit. But it is not meant to do harm, but just overcome the limits in your phone and give you root. It’s like a knife, if you may, illegal in any high security environments, like airports (your desktop secured by an antivirus), but you can use them in the kitchen and not hurt anyone (disable AV security and use it to ‘cook’ your phone with root). Then you can lock the knives in the drawer so the kids don’t find them (uninstall UnlockRoot once you are done, and reactivate AV software).
In short, it will pop an alert, but it is safe. The safe place to download is their official website pointed out in this article.
